Museum of book Sebo Museu Do Livro in Sao Paulo (Brazil). The main idea of this exhibit is that the biggest part of a book is lost when it is filmed. Think about your experience of reading a book and watching a film. What did you like more? The book? Why? The film? Why? Describe your ideas in the comments.

The last book I read was called " Killing Me Softly " writer Nikki French . I really liked it because it blended several genres , such as romance and detective. Many impressions left . Scary to realize that there is such a love, when you give yourself wholly man who gave his soul , you love him in spite of everything and doing the right thing . Upon learning that this book made a film , I immediately saw it and was not disappointed . All episodes that I imagined in my head , were embodied in this film. so I think that part of the book is not always overlooked script.

I recently watched the American movie "Noah ." My impression of him combined , as many times I read the story of Noah in the Bible, and I know how to cross was actually . I liked the way the film was shot , the acting , beautiful nature, which showed the director. But the main drawback of this film, I think that the original story greatly altered , even the director changed the meaning of the act of God . I was dissatisfied with this film and its storyline. Would like to see a movie of this Noah. So I agree with this exposure, the film often shows not the whole book , and it changed part . I read , it is better to read all the stories in the original !

"The Picture of Dorian Gray" is the only published novel by Oscar Wilde.
I read this novel and watched film. And I want say, how perfect actors played their roles, but book gave me more pleasure. My mind feel what happening inside main hero, how he love himself, how he love his appearance. For me, human soul is the most important. If human not good inside, he never be better outside. This picture show us, that we must think about what we make, how we make it, how we live.
In the end, I want say main. Book - always stay better than film, movie. If you want got pleasure after any history - read , read, read.

My favourite book is "Lights" by Stephen King's. Book more interesting than the movie . Reading the book you develop your imagination and when watching a movie you can see the image of the other person. Read the book useful and interesting . Watch movies fun and informative. I love to read books , but good movies also do not mind seeing. I especially like to read the book , and then watch her filming. Since there are films in which everything is different than in the book. Sometimes it's frustrating, but sometimes it happens that the film is much better than the book. This is very encouraging .However , it is impossible to say exactly what the book is better or film. The main thing is to have a book or movie were qualitative , gave a good mood and even better if taught something useful .Then the time spent on them will not be sorry.

Hi everyone! My name is Takhmina, I am a student. Once upon a time I read an interesting book. It was “The man from the South”. After that I watched this film. Unfortunately, I stayed dissatisfied with this variety of filming.
Firstly, as you know, films leave little to viewers' imaginations. When reading, a person is creating his own movie. He decides many of the important parts: how the characters speak, what they look like and what their surroundings look like. As a rule that is distinctly different from viewing a film.
Secondly, movie versions have a lot of missing materials, that the reader finds important. I think, it could be a good movie but not a faithful representation of the book.
Thirdly, another thing that might annoy people about the film versions of their favorite books is adding material to the story or changing material.
Not all movie versions might be considered worse than the books. But each person creates a mental version while reading a book, and no film version can live up to everyone's mental vision.

Hello! My name is Ira. I read your post and decided to write an opinion. I recently read a book by Stephanie Meyer "guest," she said, I loved it. It is so interesting and informative that break away from reading it was almost impossible. Once finished reading, I decided to watch a movie, directed by Andrew Niccol, and I want to tell you that the film is not bad, but with the book, of course, incomparable. Forgot a lot of scenes, characters and feelings, as something not realistic. Perhaps if I had not read the book, the film I would ponrav more. But even if I had not read the book before the movie, then read. I always like to compare, when watching a movie, book movie. I was disappointed that many of the scenes, as I seemed to have lost, although very important, in my opinion! In these scenes may be better acquainted with the characters.
And besides, we all understand that if movies were copied books, they were in the times spent more and more people have given preference to movies than books. And the books have lost popularity. One can not say that the book is much more interesting. So I sympathize with you. Thank you for your attention

I hate something which is associated with this product, its disgusting for me. I don't like fantasy include this. As for film this is poor actors, bad plot and other disadvantages. Moreover this is extremely boring, actually like a book. Maybe book is better because you can brighten you feelings using your imagination. I'm surprised how this series could survive so long.

Most of all I like to read books. With the help of books, I have the freedom to come up with a picture of taking place actions to penetrate into the story and feel like the protagonist. And when you watch the film, the story is invented! You don't leave a chance to turn your imagination! I don't like Harry Potter movie because most of the actors weren't able to fully convey the feelings of emotions certain situations. So you should read books that you had an opportunity to invent and to penetrate into the essence of the story.

Hi everyone! My name is Anastasia, I am a student. One time I had a pretty bad shape, perhaps, one might say - depression when doing nothing like life seemed disgusting thing and does not inspire high hopes. All of this happens, I think you will understand me ... And of course, in such a state is easiest to read the book lungs, written just as the head, and so overloaded with their own experiences. First I decided I saw the film called «PS I love you, "and immediately recognized that the book on which the film shooting is very popular in the world. And remember that we must somehow be read. Later, I bought this book (as for me it is one of the best ways to cheer up), written by a young Irish writer Cecelia. If anyone saw the movie, he will understand me: I was expecting a sad depressing reading. And I was extremely surprised when the book was an easy, interesting story in her pretty tragic: a young woman loses her beloved husband, who was dying of cancer. It remains without a goal in life, without work and without love. Months she leaves the house and can not cope with the loss. And after watching film I was not disappointed. All episodes that I imagined in my head , were embodied in this film. so I think that part of the book is not always overlooked script.

The last book I read was called "Game of Thrones".I really liked this book because it has several of my favorite genres such as science fiction, historical and adventure. I like reading more than watching films, so I very emotionally react for any inaccuracies in the movie. Some scenes in the books are not in the film help to better reveal the characters and understand the main idea of the book. I understand that the film can not display all the different characters and most episodes, but I would really like to movies were filmed as close to the book.
I'd like be a film director and make movies as I want. I like to imagine episodes in my head, but when I see it on TV I often disappointed. According to the book "Game of Thrones", I think that the actors coped with their task and tried to convey what the author intended I want to advise you to read the books because they never equal to the movie.

Hello everyone! I am want to to say about my favorite film "The Notebook".It is one of those rare occasions when the film seems to me better books . In my opinion, showed adaptation of personality characters, their feelings and experiences much better book.
The heroes of this book are seventeen teenage students . Landon grew up in a wealthy family , communicates with popular and " cool" kids , and very concerned about what others think . Jamie , on the contrary , is something of a recluse in high school. Obedient daughter of the local pastor , she hurries to help all others who spends his spare time reading the Bible. The two teenagers , seemingly nothing in common. But they are united school play and young people fall in love. But there is one thing: the girl suffering from leukemia.
Film adaptation I loved it and opening the book, I expected to receive no less pleasure . However , the book I was disappointed . Can not say that she did not like it ... no . But it was very difficult to believe in the story of heroes , or rather in their feelings.
I loved Screen version of the film and opening the book, I expected to receive no less pleasure . However , the book I was disappointed . Can not say that she did not like it ... no . But it was very difficult to believe in the story of heroes , or rather in their feelings.
Given that the story comes from the face of the Landon forty years after - well, I can not believe that we are talking about love all my life long ! It 's more like a story of a very distant friend or relative.
